This week is about celebrating the mothers! 

Their willingness to push through, to show up with strength through exhaustion, to make the best decisions for themselves and their families and to be the absolute best moms for their babies.

The mamas of the world make us jump for joy!

World Breastfeeding Week also has an official purpose, which we're proud to support.

Annually, the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) organizes and coordinates World Breastfeeding Week from August 1-7. It's a celebration of nursing mothers across the globe, with a unique focus each year. The 2024 campaign theme is Closing the Gap: Breastfeeding Support for All.

This mission is near and dear to pumpspotting and reflects many of the goals we aim to achieve with The Feel Better, Feed Better Tour this summer - by showing up for all mothers.

Yesterday's event at the Epiphany Early Learning Center - an independent school for children of economically disadvantaged families in Dorchester, MA - was just the beginning of Barb's visits to underserved communities. Check out this spot on CBS highlighting the event. 👇 👇👇

Pumpspotting and our partners are fulfilling our mission to educate communities about what it takes to keep a tiny human alive and on the inequalities that exist in breastfeeding support. 

Earlier in the week, Barb stopped by Mothers' Milk Bank NE, where their top values include:

• Equity: expanding access and prioritizing those most in need;
• Education: raising awareness of how pasteurized donor human milk saves lives, improves children’s long-term health, and supports breastfeeding; and
• Public Health: promoting healthier communities by supporting infant nutrition and breastfeeding  

Everywhere we go, in every city we meet, we're so honored to engage with the mamas:
